We had a fantastic time yesterday at 11:37 HQ, screen-printing the final stage of the replica puppet bodies. It’s gratifying to see the project come so successfully to fruition and we are super-proud of the results.
Here at 11:37, we pride ourselves on creating the most authentic, high quality products possible and we cannot lie, this project has been somewhat challenging and very labour-intensive to get right.
We committed to producing a limited run of 50 pieces; however, a consequence of the protracted production methods is that we have decided to cap sales to just 25 pieces to be fulfilled in time for Xmas. There simply isn’t enough time to produce these puppets and still get all the Xmas orders out of the door. Beyond the initial 25, we now plan to offer the remainder of the run for sale in the New Year.
If you are a discerning Sidebottom fan, you will not be disappointed with this item. It’s astounding how accurate this replica is in both look and feel. Painted by the Sievey family themselves, unless you are fortunate enough to own an original puppet created by Chris himself, this really is the very, very next best thing.
The item is dispatched to you in pristine condition, straight off the printing press. For extra authenticity, you might want to consider some gentle distressing and creasing (see comparison photo of the 2 bodies together).
